FINALIZATION OF THE NATIONAL SOCIAL PROTECTION POLICY
Innovative Social Protection interventions have progressively been gaining prominence within developing economies. This has created the need for Governments and other organisations to strengthen Policy and strategic frameworks that support and consolidate the design and delivery of diverse Social Protection Interventions.
Such progress has created the need for governments and development partners to strengthen policy and strategic frameworks that support and consolidate the delivery of diverse social assistance programs. The revision of the existing National Social Protection Policy was thus necessitated by the expansion of social protection programs as well as systems and capacities in Kenya. These expansions brought forth challenges that required realignments of resources, systems, and policies.
