Derick is an economist with experience in the design, management, and implementation of social protection programs. He is well-versed in research, monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning, policy development, disability programming, and implementation of livelihood programs across diverse
settings. He is the Business Development lead at CHASP and supports field programs.
He is passionate about humanitarian development and sustainable development goals and has been
involved with various organizations that champion the SDG agenda, like AIESEC and ICY Africa, in pursuit of this. Before joining CHASP, Derick worked at Africa 118 and Sony Sugar Company.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Maasai Mara University, Kenya.
