Brian Kipchirchir Komen is a dedicated social worker with 5 years of experience in humanitarian, community, and social development. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in social work. Komen has expertise in social protection with a passion for child protection programming, refugee and asylum seeker advocacy, and human rights.
He is a faculty member at Turkana University in the Department of Arts and Social Work, as well as a member of the Kenya National Association of Social Workers (KNASW). Komen is the County Coordinator for CHASP Advisory under the Kuza Jamii Program in Turkana County.
