PRIVACY POLICY

We at CHASP Advisory care about your data and how it is used, and we want to assure you that we handle any information we collect responsibly and carefully. This privacy policy will explain what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Collection and use of information

Personal information: on the site, we may request that you provide your name and email address. We will first ask you if you are aware of and agree to this policy. The information you provide will never be published or shared with third parties. It will only be used for our own communication and statistical purposes, including but not limited to email alerts when we have published reports and blog posts or are holding events. In addition, CHASP Advisory, as part of the communication of our work, uses imagery and videos in which some individuals may be identifiable.  Finally, CHASP Advisory also offers you the ability to upload your CV as an independent consultant wishing to work with us and invites you to apply for employment with us. In these latter two cases, you would provide us with personal data, including your address, education, and employment history, and other information.

Non-personally identifiable information: When you access the site, analytical/performance cookies collect certain information relating to you, such as the Internet Protocol address used, your navigation through the site, and the device and browser used. Similarly, our email marketing platform, MailChimp, uses web beacons to produce reports on behavior in relation to the email newsletters we provide, including IP address and email client type. This information does not identify you and will be used for internal use only, including but not limited to website traffic analysis.

Keeping data secure and retaining data

We use technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data. This includes using accounts and a server that we protect with strong passwords and two-factor verification. We will hold your data only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy or until you request that the data be deleted. In relation to images, these will be retained for as long as is necessary to communicate the project to which they relate, only with the consent of any individuals who may be identifiable. In relation to job applications, you should be aware of our privacy notice. In short, if your application is unsuccessful and we have not sought consent or you have not provided consent upon our request to keep your data for future suitable job vacancies, we will keep your data for six months once the recruitment exercise ends. Concerning consultants’ CVs, CHASP Advisory invites these to be submitted for the possibility of ongoing work and, as such, will hold them on an ongoing basis until you ask us to delete your data, as is your right.

Emails and personal data

In relation to emails to and from CHASP Advisory, if you receive any confidential information accidentally or you have reason to believe that there has been a breach of personal data, please contact our Data Compliance Officer.
